VWR® Transport Bags are purpose-designed, leak-proof bags for the safe and secure transport of microbiological, clinical, and environmental samples in compliance with transport and safety regulations. Manufactured from durable polyethylene, these bags feature a secure zip-lock or double-seal closure to prevent leakage. Available in sterile (gamma-irradiated) and non-sterile versions. Options include bags with integral absorbent pad for Category B biological substance transport, or bags pre-moistened with neutralising buffer (peptone water) for surface swabbing. A triple-wrapped, sterile variant is available for pharmaceutical and hospital use in compliance with ISO 14698. Transparent design allows visual inspection of contents without opening. Available in multiple sizes (150 × 100 mm to 400 × 300 mm).
