Goat polyclonal secondary antibody against IgG — affinity purified, available unconjugated or conjugated for Western blot, ELISA, IHC, and immunofluorescence.
VWR® Anti-IgG Goat Antibody is a high-quality goat polyclonal secondary antibody raised against immunoglobulin G (IgG). Produced via affinity chromatography purification, it delivers exceptional specificity and sensitivity across a wide range of immunological applications. The antibody recognises the heavy and light chains of the whole IgG molecule and is available in both unconjugated and conjugated forms, including HRP (horseradish peroxidase), Cy5®, Alexa Fluor® 488, CF™ 568, FITC, and biotin conjugates for versatile detection options. Key features include: affinity-purified for high specificity, standardised antibody titre by equivalence-point precipitation, total protein measured by absorbance (A280 nm), and tested for purity by immunoelectrophoresis at 10 mg/mL. Reactivity confirmed against Rabbit, Rat, Hamster, Mouse, and Human IgG depending on variant. Suitable for Western blotting, ELISA, immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunofluorescence (IF), immunoprecipitation, and flow cytometry. Supplied in buffered aqueous solution with stabiliser. Store at 2–8°C or -20°C for long-term storage. Supplied with a lot-specific datasheet.
